Job description

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: James Road, Tyseley, Birmingham, West Midlands, B11 2BA

What you'll be doing;

Assist Regional Environmental Engineer in managing Environmental and Quality systems across 3 ERFs

Implement and monitor daily environmental compliance requirements

Support ERF management in meeting environmental monitoring and reporting obligations

Plan and coordinate environmental monitoring and testing according to permit standards

Produce required reports under Environmental Permit and other regulations

Manage and liaise with third-party contractors for environmental monitoring programs

Coordinate with ERF Operational staff to maintain compliance and resolve issues

Travel between multiple sites, including potential overnight stays as required

What we're looking for;

Comprehensive knowledge of industrial regulations, emissions, and environmental permitting

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Flexible, positive attitude with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels

Proficient in IT, particularly spreadsheet applications

Valid driving license with willingness to work flexible hours

Science/Engineering qualification preferred (environmental, chemistry, engineering)

Understanding of combustion processes and industrial health & safety protocols
