A leading engineering consultancy in Devonport is offering an Environmental Management Undergraduate Placement Year. You'll support their sustainability strategy, conduct research, and assist with environmental permits. Ideal candidates are pursuing an Environmental or Engineering degree and have a passion for the environment. This role provides valuable experience and the possibility to progress to a graduate program.

During your placement, you’ll join the Environmental Sustainability department at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth – the largest naval base in Western Europe. You’ll play a key role in supporting our sustainability strategy, contributing to initiatives focused on climate change, net zero, biodiversity, volunteering, and environmental governance.
You’ll be involved in researching and writing reports, attending meetings with internal teams and customers, and assisting with environmental permits and licences. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Environmental Sustainability, gaining exposure to strategic planning and governance activities.
