What We Do
Our Facilities team is responsible for building a unique and creative environment for our growing teams and offices around the world. From Cary to Berlin to Shanghai, our Facilities team selects, designs, and maintains our global campuses. Facilities takes part in guaranteeing the everyday operations at our offices run smoothly, organizing and orchestrating global support as well as leading the build-out of our new 450,000 square foot headquarters located in Cary, NC.

What You\'ll Do

As a member of the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team, you will lead the global Health and Safety program at Epic Games. You will lead Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs to ensure the safety of Epic Games staff in all operational facilities and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

In this role, you will
  • Identify, evaluate and update occupational & environmental, health & safety (OHS & EHS) risks for each site within the Epic Games portfolio, and drive the implementation of measures to reduce these risks and ensure conformance with legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Provide strategic and proactive direction on initiatives that will improve the company's EH&S performance while minimizing risks and exposures.
  • Establish, administer, and update specific EH&S programs for compliance with national or local regulations, and provide data backed reporting on health and safety compliance.
  • Stay informed of current and new regulatory requirements and guidelines and implement as required.
  • Develop and maintain EH&S policies, practices, and procedures (SOPs, safety procedures, and protocols) to meet Epic Games' strategic and tactical needs across the global real estate portfolio.
  • Drive and own the development and maintenance of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for Epic Games studios globally.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and consultants supporting the EH&S space.
What we\'re looking for
  • Health and Safety professional experienced supporting occupier global Corporate Real Estate operations
  • Demonstrable experience in ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations globally at an enterprise and site level
  • Comfortable drafting and managing the implementation of processes and procedures to support and enhance safe operations of office and studio spaces
  • Self-starter and team-player who can develop solutions to challenging problems and communicate these to the local facility operations and project teams across the global portfolio
  • 10+ years experience in a relevant Health and Safety role
