Mortimer House School is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced English teacher to join their team of enthusiastic and passionate professionals to work with their vulnerable learners to further enhance the provision for young people with EHC Plans.
As a secondary (Key stage 3, 4 and 5) school specialising in educating young people with SEMH, PACE and emotion coaching are used to support pupils in achieving their educational goals. A trauma informed and restorative approach is used to meet the universal needs of young people who are overcoming adversity in their lives. Mortimer House School uses a broad and bespoke curriculum for pupils where equity and opportunity enables them to make holistic progress. Positive outcomes and preparation for adulthood is essential for these young people who can stay at Mortimer House from until they are 18 years old.
