Overview

Fusion Academy is the school that changes everything! We are a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4'12. As an English and History Teacher, you'll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student - academically, socially, and emotionally.

Experience & passion to work with 4th - 8th grade is a plus!

Pay is $28.50 per hour. Position starts off part-time with the opportunity to grow hours into full-time (30 plus hours per week with benefits).

Responsibilities

• Teach in a truly personalized way - one student at a time.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner's needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards - curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
