Job description

Multi Skilled Engineering Technician – Market Drayton (Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 7‑7 days & nights). Salary: £55,620 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5× and a £5,000 signing‑on bonus (payable after passing probation). £55,620,000 1.5x overtime rate 5% bonus. Mller Yogurt & Desserts is the UK’s leading yogurt manufacturer responsible for major brands such as Mllerlight, Mller Corner and Mller Rice. We produce chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International and supply the UK private‑label yogurt market from a dedicated, state‑of‑the‑art yogurt facility.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance as well as conducting planned maintenance activities where required.
• Maintain a multi‑skilled department in a fast‑moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Work cross‑functionally and support engineering, production and process teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of working in a multi‑skilled department maintaining fast‑moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within manufacturing, production and process environments.
• Apprentice trained with proven experience of working on fast‑moving machinery, pumps, valves and PLCs.
• Good knowledge of filling and process technology.
• Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance techniques.
• Team‑building skills and strong ability to work cross‑functionally.
