Job description: Multi Skilled Engineering Technician (Dairy Department) - Bellshill - Permanent contract: Pittman rotation

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, your purpose is to provide high-quality scheduled and unplanned/reactive maintenance across the site.

Actively identify root causes and bring equipment back into service as quickly as possible, while seeking and implementing cost-effective improvements to site assets and equipment, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

1. Ensure familiarity with all drawings—Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical.
2. Basic automation skills for fault finding and remediation; strong electrical skills; HNC equivalent.
3. Sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement.
4. Diligently complete all maintenance tasks, including PM, CBM, CI, and corrective actions.
5. Contribute to FMEA activities when required.
6. Identify and implement improvements.

What we're looking for in a Multi Skilled Engineer:

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
• HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with additional electrical qualification or competence.
• Automation CI tools and techniques would be advantageous.
• Experience within the maintenance/manufacturing industry.
• Experience with ONC/HNC, IOSH, NEBOSH (desirable).
