A national infrastructure company in Newcastle is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team responsible for our traffic maintenance contracts. The ideal candidate will possess previous supervisory experience in the Traffic or Telecoms industry and be a motivational leader able to ensure high standards of health and safety. Our Field teams are critical in the delivery of our contracts, whether that is delivering or supervising maintenance, installation, cabling or civils works. Reporting into the Regional Manager, the Traffic Maintenance (Engineering) Supervisor will lead a small team of Engineers who are responsible for delivering our maintenance contracts with Newcastle Council.
This role require travel in the North East (Newcastle and surrounding areas) on a daily basis.
You will have previous experience in a Supervisor / Team Leader role, ideally gained within the Traffic / Highways / Telecoms / Utilities industry. You are a motivational people manager, with the ability to get the best out of your team whilst ensuring health & safety, compliance and customer satisfaction are at the heart of what you do.
