Overview

Were looking to engage with proficient and well rounded Engineering Managers, to discuss an opportunity to join an internationally renowned, market leading designer and supplier in nuclear energy. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing and developing their team within the Engineering Department, made up of both Engineers and Design Engineers, providing technical services internally and externally to the BHR business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the output from the department; design, bills of materials, drawings, calculations, and technical documentations
• Provide an engineering service to the Production team
• New product and service development
• Formulating testing procedures
• Supporting bids with engineering designs, technical proposals and costings
• Support during customer visits
• Answering technical queries
• Ensuring all work is carried out to company quality and safety practices
• Continuous improvement in the Engineering team
• Internal training in technical subjects such as Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics to increase the capability of the company
• Attend project & operations meetings, reporting directly to the Operations Manager
