Engineering Geologist

Location: Greenwich

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

A new opportunity has opened in Southeast London for an Engineering Geologist. If you are looking to join a specialist site investigation contractor and consultancy, we would love to hear from you!

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from infrastructure developments to environmental assessments. You will also collaborate with talented engineers, environmental specialists, and sustainability consultants, gaining exposure to a wide variety of technically challenging projects.

The successful Geologist will work on a mixture of site-based and office-based tasks, providing practical experience in ground investigation, sampling, and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and conducting ground investigations
  • Carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and interpretative reporting
  • Producing geotechnical and validation reports
  • Preparing slope stability and risk assessment reports
  • Supporting junior staff and contributing knowledge to the wider team
