Engineering Geologist | Cornwall | £30,000 to £40,000 per Annum

Are you looking for a role at an established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Cornwall with first-class mentorship and a clear progression path at a senior level?

My client is a well-established consultancy seeking an Engineering Geologist to join their diverse team in Cornwall. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on phase one and two ground investigation reports, geotechnical design, slope stability, risk assessment, site safety, soil and core logging, site preparation and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Work on phase one and two ground investigation reports
  • Engage in geotechnical design, slope stability analysis, and risk assessment
  • Ensure site safety and manage soil and core logging
  • Site preparation and project management
  • Report directly to the Principal Geochemist and mentor junior staff
  • Develop factual and basic interpretative reporting skills through the internal and external development programme
Requirements
  • Relevant geologist/contaminated land experience
  • Site investigation experience
  • Geology/Civil Engineering or another relevant degree (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
