Job summary

A leading UK rail operator is seeking an Engineering Contracts Manager to oversee rolling stock leasing, maintenance, and modification contracts. In this role, you will provide expert commercial and contractual advice while supporting business planning and managing relationships with suppliers and ROSCOs. The position requires effective supervision of the Rolling Stock Contracts Manager and effective coordination with Finance for accurate budgeting and reporting. A degree and extensive experience in engineering or commercial contracts are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent; professional qualification in Engineering/Contract Management desirable.
• 5-7 years' experience in engineering or commercial contracts, preferably in rail or transport.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex contracts and provide strategic advice.
