Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Engineering Administrator/Compliance Administrator for a full-time role in Barnsley. This position involves providing comprehensive administrative support, maintaining compliance databases, and preparing reports. Candidates should have experience in construction or engineering environments and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The role offers an initial temporary contract of 3-6 months, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Compliance Officers and Managers.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and compliance databases.
  • Prepare reports on installations, repairs, and job costs.
  • Process orders and contractor documentation.
  • Keep contractor qualification records updated.
  • Assist with compliance events and follow-up work.
  • Prepare correspondence for customers.
  • Support meetings with agenda preparation and minute taking.
  • Respond to enquiries from tenants and stakeholders.
