A national healthcare organization in Wales seeks a Lead Engagement Specialist to drive initiatives promoting inclusive leadership and digital talent development. Responsibilities include developing detailed workplans, collaborating with internal teams, and engaging stakeholders. You will lead the design and delivery of initiatives that support inclusive leadership and digital talent development, with a particular focus on the NHS Wales Women's Digital Leaders Initiative. You will be responsible for developing a detailed workplan that includes clear deliverables, timelines, and success measures. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all activities are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with national digital transformation goals. You will facilitate engagement activities such as workshops, panels, and forums, and promote the use of the Welsh language. You will analyse performance data, prepare reports for senior audiences, and drive continuous improvement. You will also manage stakeholder relationships, support budget planning, and lead communications in partnership with the corporate communications team.
You will act as a lead engagement specialist, taking ownership of key activities and ensuring a professional and effective approach to engagement. You will work closely with senior colleagues across DHCW including Engagement, People & Organisational Development and Communications to support strategic goals. You will build and maintain partnerships with NHS Wales, commercial partners, Welsh Government, and other stakeholders. You will design and evaluate engagement activities, prepare reports and briefings for boards and committees, and maintain clear and consistent communications. You will support training and development for yourself and others, demonstrating DHCW\'s values and Compassionate Leadership Principles. You will ensure all initiatives reflect best practice and contribute to a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
