Salary: £23,600 - £24,920 (pro rata) per annum (FTE £29,500 - £31,150)

Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Part time

Location: College Lake, Upper Icknield Way, Bulbourne, Tring, Buckinghamshire, HP23 5QG

The Engagement & Activities Leader will help nature recover by delivering an engaging programme of activities that will inspire a diverse range of visitors to connect with nature.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nature themed events and activities to visitors from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
  • Prepare and deliver a year‑round seasonal programme of bookable and drop‑in activities that will deliver a positive financial contribution.
  • Coordinate team members and volunteer resources, including helping to recruit Activity Volunteers who assist in delivering the programme.
  • Develop informative learning resources across a variety of media to promote nature connection.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of different ways people learn and communicate.
  • Experience and ability to engage a wide range of audiences in varied settings to impart key concepts.
  • Good knowledge of common UK wildlife and habitats.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills including financial awareness.
