A global impact organization is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals with barriers to employment in Newport. You will champion customers to employers and create individualized action plans to facilitate their success in securing and maintaining employment. Strong organizational skills, experience working with diverse individuals, and a solution-focused approach are essential. The role requires travel within the community and offers competitive salary between £27,976 and £29,500 with travel expense reimbursement.

Project Overview and Role: Connect to Work is a UK government-funded initiative that forms part of the Get Britain Working Strategy. It is aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities, health conditions, or other complex challenges in finding and maintaining good, sustainable work. Programme delivery will include both IPS (Individual Placement Support) and SEQF (Supported Employment) approaches, tailoring the service to the individual. Local embedded community support will be key to engagement and delivery, and the contract will work alongside local partners, stakeholders and employers. Individuals can either self-refer or be referred by professionals. Palladium is responsible for the contract in Isle of Wight working alongside key partners.
