Job Description

The Senior Employment Solicitor will be:



  • Leading high‑value and high‑profile employment matters nationally, providing proactive legal advice


  • Drafting, negotiating and overseeing settlement agreements and senior-level employment contracts


  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, redundancy and regulatory matters across the FS sector


  • Partnering with HR and senior stakeholders to shape employment policies and risk mitigation strategies


  • Mentoring junior legal colleagues and contributing to best‑practice processes and training

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Employment Solicitor should be:



  • A solicitor or equivalent with at least 8+ years PQE in employment law, with FS experience preferred


  • Skilled in complex employment litigation avoidance, settlements, TUPE and restructures


  • Comfortable advising senior internal stakeholders and liaising effectively with HR and compliance teams


  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a national legal function


  • Confident in drafting policies and delivering training to non‑legal colleagues
