Job description

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Greater Manchester for an Employment Law Group Leader on a contract basis.

Contract Details

Full‑time 3‑month contract with potential to extend and a competitive rate:

  • PAYE (Inc. Holiday) – £44‑87 per hour
  • Umbrella – £50.00‑55.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Directly manage senior officers, setting and monitoring challenging targets and ensuring support and professional development for all officers reporting to them.
  • Review allocation of work across all teams, coordinate workflows and manage work pressures to achieve optimum performance.
  • Motivate and continually improve service delivery across all teams, maintaining high performance standards through strategic vision and proactive leadership.
About You
  • Must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with relevant employment law experience.
  • At least 3 years of management experience.
  • Previous experience working within the public sector.
