This is a great charity where people genuinely tend to stay because of the opportunities available. The most recent person we placed progressed into a senior role within 12 months and was featured prominently in the charity’s recent promotional video showcasing the impact of their work.
The charity delivers a specialist supported employment programme that exclusively supports people with a learning disability and/or autism into sustainable employment.
We’ve got three roles available right now — two covering Manchester City postcodes and one covering Stockport.
It’s an excellent organisation to work for, offering a flexible working environment and strong benefits, including gym access and an employee assistance programme. They’re also a member of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. Staff retention is high, largely because the charity offers genuine career progression and plenty of opportunities to develop.
The charity is very supportive, with weekly team meetings, regular one-to-ones with your manager, and monthly reviews. There’s also structured training in place to help you get up to speed and feel confident in the role.
Travel expenses and parking are paid, and you’ll need to be a driver with access to a car.
To apply, you’ll need experience in a similar field such as employability, careers advice, or recruitment. This could include experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, or Employment Advisor.
Working hours: This is a Monday to Friday role, working 35 hours per week. There’s flexibility to arrange your hours within an 8am–6pm window — for example, you could work 8am–4pm or 10am–6pm.
