Role of the Job

As an Employment Adviser, your primary role is to support unemployed jobseekers (participants) in finding and sustaining employment. This is a fully face‑to‑face role, and you will manage a caseload, provide direct employment support, and engage with employers to identify sustainable job opportunities. • Meeting with a high volume of participants to identify employment challenges and create personalised action plans.
  • Offering Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to address employment barriers.
  • Liaising with employers and recruitment agencies to find suitable job opportunities.
  • Providing your customers with a programme of support that will lead to sustained employment, informed by local labour market needs.
  • Assisting with CV writing and the job application process including interview coaching.
  • Supporting jobseekers face‑to‑face across our campuses, meeting customer service standards and KPIs.
  • Completing compliant customer paperwork following programme guidance and using CRM systems to capture accurate information.

You should have a can‑do attitude and experience in achieving performance and quality assurance targets in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment. You must manage your workload effectively, work autonomously and as part of a team, and be responsive to new demands.
