Responsibilities include creating personalized learning plans, reviewing learner progress, and managing administrative tasks.   • Meet all KPIs under the Prison Education Service.

Employability / Work Coach

Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £28,000
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension+ Much More!
Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria
  • Must have experience of working in a similar role (e.g., Recruitment / IAG / Employability).
  • Must be able to engage with individuals who possess complex needs/barriers.
  • Experience of working towards KPIs.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade C (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
Responsibilities
  • To identify individual learner needs, and create personalised learning plans that support long-term employment goals.
  • Regularly review learner progress to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
  • Collect feedback from learners to continually improve curriculum content.
  • Manage workbook distribution, collection, marking and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Encourage positive attitudes and behaviours towards learning, training, and employment.
  • Accurately update and maintain learner records.
  • Complete all administrative tasks, including learner registrations, enrolment forms, ILPs, reviews, registers and awarding‑body documentation.
  • Meet all contractual KPIs and performance expectations under the Prison Education Service Contract.
