A community health organization in Grimsby is seeking an Employability Support Officer to assist young people in overcoming barriers to employment. This role involves developing employability initiatives, including voluntary work and apprenticeships, and requires experience in education and training sectors. Employability supports the worklessnessagenda of Northern Lincolnshire, delivering a holistic approach to supportingunemployed people on a pathway to sustainable employment. They deliver variousemployability initiatives including voluntary work based learning,apprenticeships, and intermediate labour market opportunities. They aim toempower local people to become socially included within their communities,whilst also breaking down barriers to employment.
Supported Employment is a work-basedemployment team that provides a flexible service based on individual needs.Supported Employment supports people with learning and physical disabilities toaccess employment in both paid and voluntary work by partnership working withother organisations and employers within the public, private and third sector

Salary Range 4 - £26,416 - £28,182 pro rata per annum - you will be appointed on a fixed salary point within the range

You will support the worklessness agenda by predominantly supporting Care Experiencedyoung people to access training and employment opportunities within Industry.Enabling Participants to progress and overcome barriers to the world of workand holistically supporting those who may present as long-term unemployed, havelearning and physical disabilities, experiencing mental health issues etc.
You will assist in developing theEmployability voluntary project, apprenticeship scheme, work experience,Intermediate Labour Market project and any other Employability relatedprojects, ensuring participants are supported along the correct pathwaytailored to their individual needs.
