Overview

EMIR Trade & Transaction Reporting Operations Analyst opportunity with a thriving banking client. The role sits within the regulatory reporting Trade & Transaction Reporting team.

Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze regulatory communications and updates across EMEA regulators related to trade and transaction reporting regulations and updates, including EMIR (including Refit), MiFIR/MiFIR II, and SFTR.
  • Focus heavily on EMIR regulatory reporting regimes applicable to UK investment firms, including:
    • EMIR Trade Reporting
    • SFTR Transaction Reporting
    • MiFIR Transaction Reporting
    • MiFIR Trade Reporting
  • Lead on assessing the accuracy of reports and reconciliations, identify and analyze errors, and contribute to improvements in the capital markets book.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Focus on EMIR regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to produce gap analyses, requirements, workflows, and technical requirement documents.
  • Working knowledge of EMEA regulatory requirements, the banking products affected, and experience providing regulatory analysis and business requirements documentation.
  • Knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR, and/or SFTR regulations is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to analyze current and future regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implications for specific processes and systems.
