Overview

EMIR Trade & Transaction Reporting Operations Analyst – London. This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a role in EMIR Trade and Transaction Reporting operations within a growing regulatory reporting team at a banking client.

Role details
  • Title: Trade & Transaction Reporting
  • Location: London Canary Wharf – hybrid: 2 days in the office, with home working
  • Employment: Permanent, salary (phone number removed) plus pension and bonus
  • Focus: EMIR Regulatory reporting

Great opportunity to join a thriving bank's Trade & Transaction Reporting operations team. The role will track and analyze regulatory communications and updates across EMEA regulators regarding EMIR (including Refit), MiFID/MiFIR II, SFTR and related regimes, and will focus on EMIR reporting requirements for UK investment firms.

Responsibilities

The role includes:

  • Review and monitor regulatory updates across EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR and related regimes
  • Lead on accuracy of reports and reconciliations; identify and address report errors
  • Provide oversight of the capital markets book with respect to regulatory reporting
  • Produce analysis of regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implications for processes and systems
What we are looking for
  • Ability to produce gap analyses, requirements, workflows and technical requirement documents
  • Working knowledge of EMEA regulatory requirements and the banking products impacted; experience in regulatory analysis and business requirements documentation
  • Knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR and/or SFTR regulations is highly advantageous
  • Proven ability to translate current and future regulatory requirements into practical process and system implications
