Embedded Engineer

This position is located at customer’s side in Sunbury, UK.

What will you be doing at eInfochips?

• Design and develop real‑time embedded software and firmware, and PC/mobile based software application.
• Analyze domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement and participate in software design.
• Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement, including manual and automated.
• Document technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report.
• Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project.
• Develop new approaches to complex design problems.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience with embedded systems (NXP iMX8 or similar platform).
• Strong knowledge of C++ programming language.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer science.
• Expertise in debugging, and communication protocols (HTTP, MQTT).
• Knowledge in JLink, JTag, ICE Debugger, Serial Port Debugging.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Good to have experience with Yocto build system.
