Job description

Overview

Position: Electronics Technician • Location: Wallsend, Newcastle • Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Product testing at system, module and sub assembly level using a wide range of hardware and software tools.
• Carry out stress, thermal and performance testing, and support verification of embedded firmware and bespoke test software.
• Support customers remotely and on site, helping to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Documentation and reporting, including maintaining engineering test records and producing test reports; supporting the wider team with quality control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Open to bright graduates with a strong interest in electronics through to experienced professionals.
• An HNC or higher in electronics or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
• A practical mindset, excellent problem solving skills and genuine enthusiasm for electronics will be highly valued.
