A premier product development consultancy based in Bristol is seeking an Electronics Engineer to contribute to the design and development of innovative electronic systems. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to address client challenges and lead projects from concept through to production. This position offers flexible working arrangements and a competitive salary in line with the Consultant band.
Ensera Design is a world-class user-centred innovation and product development consultancy, specializing in the medical and consumer health sectors with offices in Bristol, Colorado and New Jersey. As part of Ensera, we collaborate globally with contract manufacturing facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia.
We are currently seeking an Electronics Engineer (initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of moving to a permanent contract) looking to combine their well-established engineering expertise and consultancy skills to the development of new products and technologies. This is primarily a full-time role (38 hours per week) based out of our Bristol office; however a proportion of the work can be conducted at home and we will consider the possibility of part-time working for the right candidate.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic systems as part of the Electronics & Software team. You will consult with clients to understand their challenges and use your creative and technical skills to identify and bring to life solutions. You will use your knowledge of electronic and physical first principles, analytical skills, practical experimentation, and simulation skills to take electronic systems from concepts through to production. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, proposal writing, planning, specification development and presenting project activities.
Ultimately you will be passionate about electronics, science and technology, using your knowledge to solve problems. Ensera Design operates at a fast pace and as an innovative consultancy, every day is different. You’ll enjoy collaborating across a variety of disciplines internally with colleagues and be able to manage external stakeholders and clients, even when things are difficult.
Whilst you do not need to meet all of these points, please ensure you meet the majority of them before making an application:
