Job Overview

The Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating electronic systems used in various regulated industries.

The role involves taking designs from initial concept through to prototyping, testing, and handover to production, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities of the Role
  • Taking design projects from the specification stage through to production.
  • Design, simulate, and verify analogue and digital electronic circuits
  • Produce engineering documentation including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and reports
  • Support prototype builds, testing, debugging, and verification.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant performance, safety, and EMC standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to design improvements.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ commercial experience in electronic / hardware design
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Strong knowledge of analogue & digital electronics.
