Location: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Job type: Full-time, permanent

The Role

Electronic Test & Service Technician required to carry out bench‑based testing, fault‑finding, servicing, calibration, and repair of electronic products within a controlled workshop environment.

This is a specialist role. Full product training will be provided, so candidates with strong transferable electronic experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, fault‑find, service, repair, and calibrate electronic products
  • Carry out bench testing and functional checks to written procedures
  • Solder and rework electronic components as required
  • Complete service records and job documentation accurately
  • Identify faults and repair requirements during testing
  • Maintain quality standards and attention to detail

About You

  • Background in electronic test, repair, service / fault finding
  • Confident fault‑finding on electronic circuits or PCBs
  • Comfortable soldering, including basic rework (training available if needed)
  • Able to follow technical procedures and work methodically
