Job summary

A technology solutions provider in the UK is seeking a candidate with expertise in providing technical advice and successful delivery of Electronic and Mechatronic outcomes. The role requires a STEM qualification at RQF Level 4 and relevant professional registration. Experience in Position, Navigation & Timing technologies is desired. The position is hybrid, based in Bristol, lasting until 31/03/2026 with inside IR35 status.

Job description

This role is Inside IR35.

Contract Length: Until 31/03/2026

Location: Bristol – Hybrid (at least one day per week)

Clearance: SC, DV is highly desired - UK National is highly desired

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement

• Hold a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 4;
• Have wide ranging depth and breadth experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful Electronic or Mechatronic outcomes;
• Demonstrate experience of providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful Electronic or Mechatronic outcomes;
• With a relevant Professional body/institution related to your discipline, be professionally registered as either:
  • Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
  • Registered Scientist (RSci)
  • Registered Marine Technologist (RMarTech)
  • Advanced Registered IT Technician (Adv RITTech)
  • Chartered Physicist (CPhys)

Desired Experience/Skills Requirement

• Have a breadth of experience in providing technical advice and delivery of successful outcomes relating to Position, Navigation & Timing technologies and/or Global Navigation Satellite Systems.
