This position as an Electronic Futures Product Manager in London offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of electronic execution strategies within Citi's Markets business. The role is pivotal in developing and optimizing advanced algorithmic trading solutions for futures and broader listed derivatives, influencing product roadmaps, and driving client engagement. It demands a proactive individual who can bridge technology, business, and client needs, contributing significantly to the firm's global market footprint in electronic trading.

Primary Responsibilities of the role
  • Drive the design and optimization of advanced futures algorithmic execution strategies, enhancing performance and client-facing analytics.
  • Lead Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to assess algo performance, informing product development and client solutions.
  • Manage internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects and initiatives in electronic trading across a complex trading architecture.
  • Collaborate with clients on quantitative analysis and projects, providing expertise in electronic execution.
  • Work closely with compliance and Electronic Trading risk managers to establish robust controls that protect the firm while supporting trading objectives.
  • Act as an internal advocate for electronic trading across asset classes, including Cash Equities, Rates, FX, and Commodities, driving cross-functional projects.
What we need from you
  • Proven experience within listed derivatives markets, including a deep understanding of market structure, microstructure, and derivative nuances.
  • Expertise in algorithmic execution, Trading Analytics (TCA), and familiarity with exchanges, OMS/EMS vendors, and FIX protocol.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in Python for charting and analytics, leveraging traditional and ML techniques for data insights.
  • Ability to review complex trading systems and risk platforms, identifying technical issues, algo behavior edge cases, and gaps in protective controls.
  • Demonstrated confidence in engaging with institutional clients to market offerings and solving complex issues.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions and the ability to adhere to internal policies.
