Job description

We are seeking an experienced electro‑mechanical technician to support the manufacture, prototyping and final assembly of bespoke mechanical and electrical systems. This is a practical, project‑driven role where you’ll turn detailed drawings and CAD models into high‑quality assemblies, contribute technical improvements, and help keep projects on schedule. If you enjoy varied, hands‑on work and making visible contributions to engineered solutions, this role offers real responsibility and scope to influence outcomes.

Core duties include:
  • Assemble mechanical components, sub‑assemblies and frames using hand and power tools with precision and repeatability
  • Interpret CAD models and engineering drawings to build bespoke items to specification
  • Wire LEDs, sensors and control panels; carry out basic electrical assembly and testing
  • Support prototype builds, provide technical feedback and implement design iterations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues quickly to maintain delivery schedules
  • Perform quality checks and document compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Maintain equipment and test tools; ensure lifting and air equipment meet HSE requirements
