A local government entity in Southampton is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their Safety Services team. We are looking for an experienced Electrician to work in our Safety Services team. Southampton is a city of opportunity. About You: You will be part of the busy Safety Services team undertaking electrical work in some of our larger projects. This may include ECR testing, rewiring, fire stopping works, kitchen and bathroom replacement programme, disabled adaptations etc. The post holder must hold an NVQ3 in Electrical Installations, C&G 2360 (2357), AM2, 2391 and the 18th Edition Regulations qualifications. Experience and knowledge in this field is a must You will need a full clean driving licence in order to drive our vehicles and will also be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks. As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a 'can do' attitude is all essential as you'll be our ambassador when you visit our customers' homes to deliver materials and assist in carrying out repairs and installations to the highest of standards. You will liaise with residents, peers and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role. Organisational, customer service, time management and physical skills are key to this role.
