About You: You will be part of the busy Safety Services team undertaking electrical work in some of our larger projects. This may include ECR testing, rewiring, fire stopping works, kitchen and bathroom replacement programme, disabled adaptations etc. The post holder must hold an NVQ3 in Electrical Installations, C&G 2360 (2357), AM2, 2391 and the 18th Edition Regulations qualifications. Experience and knowledge in this field is a must You will need a full clean driving licence in order to drive our vehicles and will also be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks. As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a 'can do' attitude is all essential as you'll be our ambassador when you visit our customers' homes to deliver materials and assist in carrying out repairs and installations to the highest of standards. You will liaise with residents, peers and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role. Organisational, customer service, time management and physical skills are key to this role.

  • Hours of work: You will work a 37-hour week plus an additional 2 hours TOIL (Time Off in Lieu). The TOIL equates to 12 days annual leave year, in addition to your basic entitlement of 26 days annual leave per year (not including bank holidays). This leave increases to 29 days after you have completed 5 years of continuous service. What we can offer you: Salary: The salary band for this role is £41,771 - £46,141. The starting salary is £41,771 with annual progression through the salary bands.
