Electrician (Electrical Engineer)

Location: With homeowners across England seeking greener heating solutions, the ideal candidate will be based in central or Southern England and demonstrate a willingness to travel nationwide (all expenses covered).

With our warehouse based in Maidenhead, ideal locations for this role would be Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire or surrounding areas. However we will consider candidates outside of these areas.

Salary: £45,000‑£55,000 per annum depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus, company van, and other benefits.

The role

You will be part of a journey to rethink how heat pumps and batteries are delivered and installed to increase the affordability of renewable tech for customers and drive growth in the business.

• Survey homes to ensure the right information is captured to quote and deliver our solutions.
• Electrical installation of heat pumps, batteries and solar PV.
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems, performing electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on installed heat pumps, batteries, solar panels and other electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operation.
• Develop documentation, maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and inspections, ensuring compliance with UK standards and internal procedures.
• Communicate with customers, establishing a friendly and trusted relationship, addressing any electrical concerns homeowners have, representing the Rendesco brand and ensuring positive customer satisfaction.

About you

You’ll have solid experience as a qualified Electrician in domestic settings and an excellent understanding of current regulations. You’ll have a full UK driving licence.

• Inspection and Testing Certification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) or equivalent.
• BS 7671 certification (18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations).
