A leading global defence and aerospace firm based in Glasgow is looking for an Electrician. This full-time role includes working various shifts and offers a competitive salary of £38,662 per annum plus additional allowances for night and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will collaborate on high-profile naval projects and must have relevant qualifications and experience. We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as an Electrician. The role will be based in Glasgow and will require the successful candidate to be on site full time working a varied shift pattern.
The company works at the cutting edge of technology, creating more than 100 new inventions each year for customers in over 100 countries. It is at the forefront of designing and building world‑leading naval ships, delivering high‑quality innovative solutions. As part of a growing team, they are looking for a talented and experienced Electrician to join them in delivering eight Type 26 frigates to the Royal Navy.
All successful candidates will be required to attend a trade test in Glasgow in October 2025 and submit trade certificates after an initial phone call with our recruiter.

You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years.
