We are seeking an experienced Contract Electrician to support operations within the water and wastewater sector. This role involves electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on water treatment works, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical installation, inspection, and maintenance of LV systems
  • Fault finding and repair on pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels, and instrumentation
  • Working with PLC/SCADA systems (where required)
  • Ensuring all work complies with current electrical and safety regulations
  • Completing permits, RAMS, and site documentation
  • Working safely in operational water industry environments
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Previous experience in the water or utilities sector (essential or highly desirable)
  • ECS/JIB card
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong commitment to health & safety
  • Water industry safety passport (EUSR/CSCS) - desirable
  • PLC or instrumentation experience - advantageous
