HV / LV Electrical Trainer (Confidential)

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Yorkshire-based training centre (with some classroom & practical delivery)

The Opportunity

A leading technical training provider is seeking an experienced Authorised / Competent Person HV / LV Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality electrical and safe systems of work training to engineers operating in critical environments.

This is a non-site-based role, ideal for an experienced electrical professional looking to step away from tools while remaining technically influential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver HV & LV electrical training to practising engineers and technicians
  • Teach safe systems of work, isolation, switching and compliance standards
  • Support candidates operating in critical environments such as hospitals, MOD facilities and airports
  • Deliver training related to air filtration systems, building services and infrastructure
  • Ensure training aligns with current legislation, standards and best practice
  • Assess learner competence and provide technical guidance and mentoring
Essential Experience
  • Strong background in HV and LV electrical systems
  • Previous experience working in hospitals (NHS or private healthcare)
  • Exposure to MOD sites and/or airport environments
  • Understanding of air filtration systems and critical building services
  • Ability to communicate technical content clearly to engineers at all levels
Desirable
  • Authorised Person (HV/LV) background
  • Experience delivering training, mentoring or technical leadership
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, permits, switching and safety documentation
