Qualifications

• An electrical background with relevant electrical experience.
• A broad knowledge of electrical-related legislation and policy.
• Ability to use a range of approaches to address problems/issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas in a structured and coherent manner.
• High attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate the correct use of L.V. test equipment.
• A basic understanding and ability to diagnose and identify faults on equipment ranging from 110 – 690 Volts A.C.
• Competency in following in-house stock control systems for booking, monitoring, and controlling parts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading/unloading and movement of all equipment.
• Carry out routine testing and inspection duties.
• Perform basic fault-finding duties on distribution equipment.
• Inspect, test, and repair L.V. cable.
• Follow procedures for repair, testing, and inspection of equipment.
• Control the use of replacement parts within stock control.
• Work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
