Up to £50K DOE | Full-time, On-site | Taunton

A leading, forward-thinking engineering company with an international reputation is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their high-performing technical team. This well-established business designs and delivers innovative machinery and solutions to the global Converting and Print industries.

The Role
As an Electrical Technician, you will work on bespoke machinery that incorporates hundreds – and sometimes thousands – of metres of cabling. Your role will involve accurately laying out these complex cabling systems, creating and maintaining cable schedules, and ensuring all cables are correctly labelled and organised. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team, working to tight deadlines and ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately install and lay out complex cabling systems for bespoke machinery.
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed cable schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Label and organise cabling to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively within a small team to meet project deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company standards.
  • Support the company’s commitment to delivering excellent customer satisfaction at every stage.

About You

  • Fully qualified electrician/engineer.
