Panel Wireman / Hands‑On Electrician

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently working with an established engineering business who are looking to recruit a hands‑on Electrician / Panel Wireman to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role would suit an electrically biased individual who enjoys practical, workshop‑based work, building and testing electrical panels.

The Role
  • Building and wiring control panels and MCC panels
  • Electrical assembly to engineering drawings and schematics
  • Testing and fault‑finding of MCCs
  • Working closely with the wider engineering and workshop teams
  • Ensuring all work is completed to required quality and safety standards
The Ideal Candidate
  • Time‑served or qualified Electrician / Panel Wireman
  • Experience building and wiring control panels and MCCs
  • Confident reading electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong hands‑on electrical background
  • Comfortable working in a workshop / manufacturing environment
