We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join Serco at Darent Valley Hospital. In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, as well as some mechanical tasks, ensuring the hospital's essential services run safely and reliably. You will be the first response to urgent issues, working as part of a multi-skilled estates team to keep critical systems operating for patients, staff and visitors.
Your work will have a direct impact on patient care - from maintaining power supplies and building systems, to responding to alarms and ensuring safe environments across the hospital.
This is a demanding but rewarding position where your decisions and actions directly affect the safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. You will be expected to work flexibly, including unsociable hours, and adapt quickly when priorities change. At times you will work independently, making critical judgements under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
