A leading global EPC contractor in Talacre is looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent. This role involves leading a team to oversee electrical works in a major Carbon Capture & Storage project, ensuring safety and quality. Candidates should have 15–20 years of experience in high voltage electrical systems on construction sites, proven leadership skills, and a Senior Authorized Person (SAP) Competency Card. This role offers a renewable 12-month contract with a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

  • 15–20 years of experience in high voltage electrical systems on construction sites.
  • Must hold a Competency Card as Senior Authorized Person (SAP) – up to 11 KVA.
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills in complex industrial environments.

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 2–3 electrical supervisors and site personnel.
  • Oversee electrical works ensuring safety and quality standards are met especially in high voltage areas.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and agencies.
  • Monitor progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.

Position: Electrical Superintendent

Contract: 12 month (renewable)

Day rate: Outside IR35 (accommodation arrangements will be your responsibility)

Airswift is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a major Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) project. This is an opportunity with a global EPC contractor focused on energy transition and decommissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate a team of 2–3 electrical supervisors and site personnel.
  • Oversee electrical works, ensuring safety and quality standards are met especially in high voltage areas.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and agencies.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and ensure availability of drawings and materials.
  • Monitor progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage productivity, man-hours, and cost estimates for scope changes.
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow across disciplines.
What We’re Looking For
  • 15–20 years of experience in high voltage electrical systems on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical vendors, site suppliers, and HV safety protocols.
  • Must hold a Competency Card as Senior Authorized Person (SAP) – up to 11 KVA.
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills in complex industrial environments.
