Qualifications

  • Experience working in a critical environment/data center is preferred.

Trevett Services are currently searching for Electrical Shift Engineers on a permanent basis, to work in a Data Centre environment, starting as soon as possible based in Longcross with one of the UK's leading global commercial real estate services & investment companies.

Duties:
  • Complete PPM, reactive maintenance and keep all built electrical systems running.
  • React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs.
  • Installation and modification of site electrical services.
  • Fault finding and rectification of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues.
  • Operation and troubleshooting of emergency lighting, BMS, AC Systems, VAV, Split Systems, AHUs, Generators, heating systems, and HV Systems (training provided).
  • Monitor fire systems and alert supervisor on changes to status.
  • Check BMS alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related problems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a Building Services Critical environment.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical/Maintenance qualification.
  • 18th Edition IEE certification.
  • HV Approved Person qualification (training offered to become HVAP).
  • HVAC experience.
  • BMS knowledge.
  • Ability to present information clearly to peers and management.
  • Experience working in a critical environment/data center is preferred.
