A growing electronics manufacturer in the UK is seeking an Electrical Production Technician to join their production unit in Cheshire. The role involves assembling electrical control panels, requiring skills in system build manufacturing, mechanical preparation, and using test equipment. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years experience in a production environment, with a focus on quality and detail. This position offers a full-time schedule with opportunities for advancement and participation in the company's pension and bonus schemes.
Our client is an electronics company specialising in the design and manufacture of energy efficient controls and monitoring to the refrigeration industry in the UK, Europe and internationally.
They are growing and ambitious in their plans for the future and are looking to recruit an Electrical Production Technician to work on a range of electrical control panels currently being manufactured.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years within assembly or production environment.
An interest or understanding of electronic controls would be advantageous.
The role requires good organisation skills, attention to detail and quality focus, along with a positive attitude, ability to use your initiative, be adaptable and communicate with team members.
Full time at their small production unit in Cheshire at CW11 2UD. You will work Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm. The probationary period is 6 months, once completed this will be a permanent.
Taking direction from the Lead Production Engineer and following technical documents, wiring and schematic drawings you will prepare and assemble cables and looms, mechanical preparation of panels/enclosures and further assembly of electrical panels to full box build. You will be involved in test, final inspection and package of panels ready for dispatch. The ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment and keep accurate manufacturing logs is required. Input and contribution to continuous improvement within quality, delivery and cost will be encouraged.
