An international engineering consultancy is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to oversee high-voltage solar power project design and delivery. The role includes reviewing design packages, managing compliance with UK grid codes, and coordinating with design teams. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Power Engineering and a strong background in solar power systems. This position offers competitive benefits and the chance to contribute to the UK's renewable energy transition.
Vulcain Engineering UK is expanding beyond our established nuclear expertise into the wider power and grid sector. As part of this growth, we are seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to take responsibility for high-voltage solar power project design and delivery. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in projects that directly support the UK's energy transition.
Note: visa sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on role criticality and project needs. Many UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK. Exceptionally, we may consider visa sponsorship for applicants with niche experience aligned to our core work (e.g. EPR/nuclear new build).
