Job description

The Electrical/Mechanical Store Person will be responsible for conducting all administration with regards to purchasing ordering processing for payment and vendor compliance.

They will also be responsible for the receipt storage and distribution of goods in accordance with company standards as well as general maintenance and good housekeeping of the store.

Other duties include
  • Take in and check all deliveries in line with /bi weekly/monthly orders and reconcile.
  • Confirm goods received are stored in accordance with company standards and highlight and note any variances.
  • Check quantities and inspect items. Arrange drop off points for goods on site.
  • Store or distribute goods to sites as required.
  • Ensure that all relevant personnel are notified of delivers and location of stores
  • Liaise with colleagues and suppliers on issues of product quantity or quality and take measures to reduce the level of redundant stock.
  • Perform relevant ad-hoc cleaning duties.
  • Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
  • Load out the sites as required.
  • Open store before site staff arrive each day.
