Job summary

A respected marine services provider is seeking a Marine Engineer with an electrical bias to manage electrical engineering functions for their vessels. The successful candidate should have experience as a Ship's electrician or Engineer Officer of the Watch. Duties will include supporting the management of vessels, supervising electrical work, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role offers a salary up to £45k, an 8% matched pension, private medical, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Ship's electrician or Engineer Officer of the Watch.
  • Experience in shipbuilding/ship repair industry.
  • Competent IT skills with Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Marine Electrical Resources for engineering functions.
  • Support Fleet Technical superintendent and itemize tasks.
  • Liaise with Port authorities and Contractors.
