Job summary

A global manufacturing leader in King's Lynn is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, have hands-on experience in a Machine Tool environment, and strong diagnostic skills. This role involves responding to equipment breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance, and working collaboratively with production teams. Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Tool environment.
• Experience with CMMS 18th Edition Regs.
• FLT / MEWP trained (advantageous).
• Understanding of 5S and TPM practices (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment and machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce production downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement safe, long lasting solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and external contractors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills

Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively

A proactive mindset with a commitment to safety and quality

Education

NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
