  • Fit new parts and ensure equipment functionality.

Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment is working with a Manufacturer based in Mexborough. They are looking for Electrical Maintenance Engineers due to company growth.

Location: Mexborough, South Yorkshire

Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating pattern (2 days, 2 nights)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine scheduled PPMs and respond to equipment faults, completing required paperwork
  • Diagnose breakdowns using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Fit new parts and ensure equipment functionality
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Manage engineering stores and parts
  • Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, repairs, and support installations
  • Suggest improvements for health and safety policies and procedures
  • Work with equipment like PLCs and servos
  • Follow site procedures (safety, engineering, hygiene, technical)
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ) in Electrical Maintenance or higher
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance preferred
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification or higher preferred
  • Good understanding of health and safety
