Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a proactive, technically skilled engineer who can deliver high-quality maintenance support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery and site equipment
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety standards and compliance regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to equipment reliability
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering and operations teams
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, motors, sensors, and industrial electrical systems
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Contract Details:

Competitive hourly/daily rate

Initial contract term with potential extension

Shift pattern or working hours depending on site requirements

Immediate or short-notice start preferred
